The first example I'm using is 632-418. This problem requires regrouping in the ones place.
The first step is to draw the base ten blocks for the larger number.
Then I can subtract 8 ones because I have 12 total ones. When I cross out 8, I'm left with 4 and I can write that in the hundreds, tens, and ones chart.
